Fidelity Services Group hires five banks to advise on planned JSE listing
South Africa's biggest private security group appointed Absa, Deutsche Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bank and RMB Morgan Stanley to advise on a JSE listing planned for 2026.
Fidelity Services Group, South Africa's biggest private security company, hired banks to advise on an initial public offering on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, with the listing planned for 2026, BusinessTech reported in November 2025.
The named advisers are Absa Group, Deutsche Bank, Nedbank Group, Standard Bank Group, and RMB Morgan Stanley - the FirstRand/Rand Merchant Bank joint venture.
The article cites 58,000 staff across more than 160 depots in South Africa; the company's own website cites more than 69,000 staff. Fidelity's services span residential and commercial guarding, housing complexes, casinos and cash-in-transit.
CEO Wahl Bartmann - a Springbok rugby player in the late 1980s and early 1990s with a B.Juris degree from RAU - built Springbok Patrols into Fidelity Services Group, Southern Africa's largest integrated security provider.
Bartmann indicated the market should not expect an intention to float in 2025 and declined to give a valuation.
