iMAT is a proudly South African manufacturer of physical access control — turnstiles, speedstiles, vehicle barriers, security booths and gates — and a distributor of biometric systems and screening & detection equipment. More than 25 years in access control, with 36 products in the current range. In-house design, development and electronic engineering teams see a project through from planning to on-site installation. Custom brackets, mounts, enclosures and gates are designed with CAD and fabricated in iMAT’s own factories, as one-offs or production runs. Flagship models, from the Full-Height Eurostile to the Speedstile range, ship with interactive 3D models and downloadable GLB and IFC files that drop straight into a drawing or a SecurityHub site design. Finishes can be previewed in galvanized, stainless or any RAL powder-coat. Manufacturing in Cape Town and Johannesburg, with an office in Durban, so spares and technical support are one call away nationwide. Guarantees: 10 years on turnstile mechanical parts, 2 years on vehicle barriers. Specified and installed at O.R. Tambo International Airport, Kruger National Park, Peninsula Beverages and the Good Hope Centre.
